Which Vegetables Are Safe For Hamsters?

Do you know which vegetables are safe for hamsters to eat?
Let’s find out.
I’m going to keep this blog short.
However, there is one thing I do want to mention first.
Before feeding your hamster any vegetables, make sure you thoroughly wash it! Even if it’s Organic.

So here is a list of safe veggies you can give your hamster.
Bok choy
Broccoli
Brussel Sprouts
Cabbage
Carrots
Cauliflower
Celery
Cilantro
Cooked Potato
Cucumber
Endives
Green Beans
Kale
Parsley
Parsnips
Peas
Romain Lettuce
Spinach
Sweet Corn
Tomato
Turnip
Zucchini
Not Safe Vegetables
Never feed you hamster any of these vegetables:
Chilli Peppers
Chives
Garlic
Iceberg Lettuce
Onions
Pickles
Raw Potato
Couple tips
If you want to give any other vegetables not on the list above to your hamster, check with your Veterinarian first.
Also make sure you give these vegetables in small amounts. Don’t give him big pieces. Cut the veggies in smaller pieces and then feed it to your hamster.
You can also give your hamster small amounts of pumpkin pure, but I would check with your Veterinarian before giving him raw pumpkin.
